As I married recently, I am writing this article. I was feeling wonderful and all the more special, having had a perfect wedding with a perfect man.

The common mistake made by most brides is to starve and slim down by a size or two for the wedding. Crash diet is bad along with a stressful schedule and can mar their look in the wedding snaps. Eating well and sensibly would be my recommendation. Concentrate on a lot of water and fruits as the run-up for the event would be tiring. I happened to attend a friend’s wedding and I thought I was lost. My friend did not look like herself at all with the makeup. Be simple and elegant. Attempt to look good, remember it’s your marriage. We usually only get one opportunity at this precious sacred moment. Great care is mandatory is beauty preparation.
Food is an inevitable part of any wedding. Conventionally, there are about 25 items prepared in all, having their own categories. Being vegetarian, the food comprises rice, biryani, breads, dosa, sambar, dal, curries, rasam, etc.

A musical called the ‘Sangeet’ is blissfully arranged for the joyous dancing of all concerned throughout the night. The party is so divine in nature. An extraordinary thing to witness and even more impactful to participate in.
